Councilmember Julie Hsieh shares her chart notes from the Mercer Island Youth and Family Services Foundation 24th Annual Breakfast
It’s my 3rd year to captain a table at the Annual Mercer Island Youth & Family Services Foundation Breakfast and this time as a City Councilmember! 500 Islanders attended to support the MIYFS Foundation this morning. Our community is truly kind and compassionate—we show up for one another and take care of our most vulnerable neighbors. Thank you all for your support. ❤️

• In 2025, YFS saw 100% increase in rent assistance requests.
•YFS supplemented Hopelink Mobile Market distributions with food cards for impacted Islanders.
• In November & December, YFS distributed $28,200 in gift cards to 127 Island households (355 visits).
• Hopelink Mobile Market supports food security for about 100 local households - 2x a month.
