On Sunday, March 1st, at 1:00 PM, the sound of whirring flywheels filled Orangetheory Mercer Island as the community gathered for the Row for MI: Ergathon. The mission was simple but daunting: compete in teams to row 20km—the equivalent of a full lap around Mercer Island—to raise vital funds for the Mercer Island Rowing Club.

MI Rowing Fundraiser is LAUNCHED!

The event saw over 40 participants spread across six incredible teams. Together, they covered a staggering 120 kilometers on stationary rowing machines. While the ultimate goal is a $20,000 windfall for the organization, this event kicked things off in high gear, raising over $7,000 to date.

Special recognition goes to the OAR-iginal Gangstas, who took home the title of Fastest Team, and Skjaldmær, who led the pack in fundraising efforts.
