January 20th - Free America Walkout Mercer Island

Join your neighbors as Mercer Island Walks for a Free America! We will assemble on Tuesday, January 20th at “Democracy Corner” at Island Crest Way and 40th St. at 3:00 pm and will protest until 4:00 pm. Bring signs, if you wish, stating your hopes and dreams for 2026!
Parking is available at Homestead Field and Tennis Courts (8100 SE 40th St.) a 5 minute walk to the corner.
This is a visibility event to build community around a free and democratic America. You may choose to stand at any of the 4 corners or you may walk from corner to corner during the hour, or a combination!
