New Council Leadership
CITY GOVERNMENT
January 6 was the first meeting of 2026, and as such, it was time for the City Council to elect the new Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
Please join Talk on the Rock in congratulating:
New Mayor: David Rosenbaum
New Deputy Mayor: Daniel Becker
Each will serve for at least a two-year term.
Mayor Rosenbaum has been on the Council since 2020. He served the prior four years as Deputy Mayor under Mayor Nice.
Deputy Mayor Becker was appointed to the Council in June to fill the seat created by the passing of Councilmember Jacobson. He was elected to a four year term in November.
