Time to Update MI Transportation Plan

Share your Thoughts - The City of Mercer Island’s public comment period for the annual update of the Six Year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is open until April 21, 2026.
The TIP covers the City’s roadway, pedestrian, and bicycle projects planned for the six-year period beginning in 2027. Visit the City’s TIP webpage to learn more and submit comments for consideration. Comments received by March 19th will be included in the agenda bill presented to the City Council during its meeting on April 7, 2026, when a public hearing for the TIP will also take place. The public hearing will be continued from the April 7th to the May 5th City Council meeting. On May 5th, the City Council will review the proposed TIP and public comments, provide feedback, and adopt the TIP.
