Simply known as, “The Breakfast,” the 24th annual MIYFS fundraiser is on February 11, 2026. At this gathering - which is equal parts fundraiser, inspiration, and coffee with friends - our community’s unwavering commitment to caring for the social and emotional wellbeing of our neighbors is reflected in this year’s theme, “Giving From the Heart.”
Starting at 7:30 am sharp at the Mercer Island Community & Events Center, back by popular demand, The Breakfast will again be emceed by MI resident and KUOW public radio host Bill Radke and will honor John and Ellen Hill with the Philanthropy Award. You won’t want to miss this! Join us in celebrating the Hills and ensuring that our Mercer Island community remains healthy and vibrant.
Hosted by the MIYFS Foundation whose mission is to financially support the critical services MIYFS provides to Islanders throughout their lives, proceeds from The Breakfast fund emergency assistance for shelter and food insecurity, behavioral health and substance abuse counselors in the Mercer Island schools, and programs for families to stay connected and seniors to thrive in our community.
