Mercer Island wants to hear from its youth and teens!

The City’s Parks and Recreation Commission is developing a long-term plan to upgrade the 1970s-era facilities at Groveland Beach Park and Clarke Beach Park. Docks, bathrooms, beaches, and other park amenities are all due for an upgrade.

As part of this effort, the Commission wants to hear directly from some of the park’s most important users: preteens and teens who swim, play volleyball, fish, and spend time hanging out at the beach.

What works? What doesn't? What is lacking, and what do we need more of? What would make you and your friends enjoy the park more?

If you’re a teen or preteen, this survey is for you.

Please click here to take the survey. And be sure to share the link with your friends.

Parents: please encourage your kids to participate. This is their chance to help shape the future of Mercer Island’s parks. And please resist the urge to take the survey yourselves. We want to hear from teens and pre-teens only at this time.
